Join las Locatoras in a Femme Defense Workshop at Cerritos College. Partake in a workshop about the history of self-defense and resilience of femmes and women of color from the Latin American and US Latinx context. We locate the anti-colonial origins of self-defense historically deployed by femmes of color in the face of conquest genocide displacement enslavement and intra-community patriarchal violence.
